Here at St. Michael Church & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church the First Communion lessons are designed for families to participate together -  the children and their parents.

These classes will help strengthen your faith and your families faith together.

We will begin the First Confession preparation classes in February 2027 for six weeks.

Then we will take a break and start back up with the First Communion preparation classes after Easter.

The classes will be on Wednesday evenings at the St. Michael Church site (2153 Parkwood Ave.) for both Our Lady of Perpetual Help & Immaculate Heart families beginning at  6:30 pm.

Cost for the program to help offset the cost is $45. If this is going to be a burden for your family please let Christine know.

* This program engages the whole family as they grow in their understanding of the Eucharist and Parish Family Life.
 At least one parent (or grandparent) must attend the preparation classes with their child. The program is not a "drop off" program. *We offer free babysitting for the younger/older siblings.

The sacrament of Reconciliation
must be made before receiving
First Communion.
